Welcome to day 3 of the September Beauty Bloggers Challenge! I am back from my 3 day Duke of Edinburgh Expedition, and although it was reaaaally tiring, I absolutely loved it.

Anyway, onto today's challenge!
As i'm sure you can tell by the title, i'm going to show you what I take in my makeup bag when i'm travelling light (for example, staying at a friend's house, going away for a few days, or something like that.) I try my absolute hardest to pack light, but it always fails. So, should we get started?

First up, it's always first in my bag, because I use it every day without fail, it's my Collection 2000 concealer in number 3: medium. I love this, it's my holy grail.

Second thing to go in is this mascara from Maybelline. Again, i love this, it makes my lashes look amazing, and beautiful.

And to go with the mascara, of course I have to have eyelash curlers. If I could only use one thing except makeup on my face, this would be what i'd pick.
I also put in this eyeliner and eyeshadow palette (from Sleek- Au Naturel). The palette is quite bulky, but it's perfect for everything, so I love it. The eyeliner is so easy to apply, and it's also great for my waterline.

I put in these four items as well. The wake me up foundation does exactly as it says on the tube, it wakes me up. The Sleek face contour palette is brilliant for shaping my face, and the Rimmel Stay matte powder just sets everything in place nicely. The Bourjois bronzer just adds a nice finishing sun kissed look to my face.

The final makeup item I put in is a lipstick. Now, it varies all the time, depending on my mood, but it's often a nude, like this Rimmel Kate Moss one in 03.

So this is all I pack in my makeup bag (I obviously have a skincare part as well, which usually just contains lipbalm, moisturiser, and cleanser in it). I would say that I know how to pack reasonably lightly, and that these are the essentials that I use on a daily basis.

I saw this tag floating around, and I thought it would be so good to do, so here I am!

1. What is your earliest beauty memory?
-  When I was five or six, my mum was making the dinner, and I decided it would be a good idea to go into her make-up box, and put on lipstick, except I got a bit carried away and ended up looking like a clown, whilst wrecking my mum's expensive lipsticks in the process! Oops!

2. What was your first beauty purchase?
- Oh gosh, does anyone remember the "Dazzle Dusts" from Collection 2000? Because I loved them, and I bought a bright blue one! Why?! I wore it once, hated it, and never wore it again...

3. When did you first wear makeup?
- Probably around the age of 12, but that was only eyeshadow/mascara. I started wearing a full face of makeup at about 14

4. When was your first beauty disaster?
- I'm sure a lot of people have had the same disaster, but it was the first time I ever wore foundation. I bought a cheap one from Natural Collection, and it was way too orange for my pale skin, and I didn't blend it properly, so I had  a line round my forehead, and chin, and it was all blotchy. I went downstairs, ready to go out, but my mum stopped me and went "Erin what have you got on your face, you look ridiculous." So I took it off!

5. Who was your first beauty crush?
-  I had to think long and hard about this, but I think i've got it limited down to two. Vanessa Hudgens, when she was in High School Musical, and Victoria Justice, when she was in Zoey 101. Funnily enough, these are still two of my biggest beauty crushes now!

6.What was your first brand crush?
- Um, it was probably Collection 2000, before I wore makeup, and I just used to think that the stuff was cheap, and it looked really good!

7. What is your longest standing beauty love?
- Rimmel! I love that brand so much! I do also love my Palmers Cocoa Butter Lip Balm, and have been using that for years!

I had such fun doing this, and I tag all of you reading it to do this tag, and post your responses in the comments, so I can read them!
