My Beauty Compare || Beauty Comparison Site

February 14, 2014

A few weeks ago, I was contacted from  My Beauty Compare, and after having  a look around their site, I jumped at the chance to write a blog post all about this site!

Like most people, I think there's nothing worse than going into a shop, and finding a product that you just purchased, only to find out there is a cheaper alternative elsewhere. Another thing I hate, is buying products (in particular skincare), only to find out that it doesn't work well with my skin.
Well, you'll be pleased to know, that these problems can now be solved, courtesy of My Beauty Compare!

On this website, women can take a short quiz, and with the results, the website can find the best products to suit your skin type, skin tone, eye colour, hair colour, age, etc. There's over 1500 brands on this site. Now, if that doesn't get you interested, I don't know what will.
They are also the worlds 1st price comparison site, which I think is pretty awesome idea. One I wouldn't thought of myself. The founders of this site obviously saw that today's market was lacking something, which in my opinion is vitally important, a place where we can compare our favourite beauty products, in order to find the best ones for us, at he lowest price.
The site also has a blog, which I enjoyed reading through, and customers can leave their own reviews on all the products, which I think is an essential factor for a beauty product selling website. I also think it's useful to read other people's review's before buying a product, to check that you will be getting value for money.

Now onto my personal experience with the site..
The quiz was very simple to complete, and took next to no time at all, and the information gained was very useful. After I completed this quiz, I clicked on one of the product categories (picking my favourite product, lipstick, of course!), and at the top of the page, there's a list of gorgeous looking products that are recommended to suit me! . Some of these products I already own, but I now have my eye on a few recommended products, thanks, My Beauty Compare!
What I fail to understand, is how this website isn't more popular in the beauty blogger's world, as it really should be, as since being contacted by this site, i've visited it on multiple occasions! I admit, the site is still in the early stages, as it is just establishing it's place in the market, but once it gets there, I am sure it will be a massive hit.

The lovely people over on My Beauty Compare also sent me a couple of drugstore products, which I will be reviewing in my next two posts, which should be up within a couple of days, so look out for them!

Until next time!
