Hello everyone! So, it's been a while since i've posted on here, as i've been over in America for three months working in a summer camp in Maryland! I wrote a post about it here but to summarise, I was the media assistant at camp so I took photographs and updated the blog twice daily (see it here).  So anyway, I thought a good blog post to start back on this blog would be to show you some of the photographs that I took from travelling this summer and from camp too. So, here they are!

So yeah, that was my summer, it was incredible, definitely the best summer of my life!!

For a while I totally went off Instagram. I just wasn't ever going onto it, and I rarely posted photos. It became so neglected on my phone! However, recently i've become obsessed again and it's all due to a new app i've discovered!
The app is called 'A Colour Story' and it's by the lovely ladies over at 'A Beautiful Mess'. I've absolutely adored their blog for years, and their photos are so beautiful, so when I found out they released an app, I was ecstatic, i'm not going to lie. As soon as it was available on Android (yes, I don't have an iPhone) I downloaded it. Within a mere hour or so of playing around with the free filters I decided I was obsessed. I loved it so much that I actually paid the money to get all the filters (the core app is free by the way). I just wanted to really do this post to talk about my love for the app. Below i've included some before and after shots of photos i've edited (i've also included my Instagram, which you should definitely follow!)
Enjoy!

Aren't the filters beautiful?
Thanks for reading!
(Just a side note, I might not be posting much at all, if anything, over the next three months as I will be in America. I did a post here which explains it all. You can follow my adventures over on www.campgreentop.blogspot.com though)

Hey everyone! Sorry i've been a bit quiet on the old blogging thing, i've been super duper busy! In amongst work and uni hand-ins (I passed everything, thank God!), i've been applying to Camp Counsellors USA, an organisation that places young adults at camps throughout America. The other week, I found out that I have a place!
I'm going to a place in Maryland called 'Camp Greentop', which is for children and adults with special needs, and I will be the media assistant there. This consists of me taking all the photographs, updating the blog, putting together photo albums, updating Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, and it's just basically the perfect job for me!
I'm so excited, yet so very scared, it's such a big change for me!! My flight is a week on Wednesday, and I won't be back in the UK until September!
So I just really wanted to post this as a little update, just letting you know my life plans!
Have any of you done a summer camp in America? Let me know your experiences and any tips you have please! It would be much appreciated!
