Hello again! Today's post is all about the makeup brand e.l.f. It's a brand I dabbled in a bit when I was in America but I haven't really explored it since it's been widely available in the UK. So with that being said, I went onto Superdrug and went a bit wild! I think you'll see from the haul that I am desperate for a night out or just somewhere that I can do nice makeup? It's been so long! Without further ado, let's get into it!

Last but not least, we have quite possibly my favourite purchase of the haul. These metallic eyeshadows are honestly so beautiful. They were £6 each which I think is really decent for a highly pigmented eyeshadow. These really are the star of the show, once this is on your eyelid you don't need anything else. These are perfect for a summers day or a night out. I'm obsessed.

 Hey everyone, so i'm back today with another clothing haul! I've been buying a lot of things, and I thought i'd condense them into this post! I'm going to keep it short and sweet, and let my clothes do the talking! I am in love with everything I bought though, so lets go!

Recently, i've been so brilliant at this whole "posting regularly" thing.. (can you sense the sarcasm?) I'm really sorry, I explained in my last post why (read that here), but today is all about spending money!
I handed in an important essay to uni on Tuesday, and what better way to celebrate than with a bit of retail therapy? I spent too much money considering i'm a poor university student, but i'm going to show you what I got anyway!



First up was Primark, where I got a few things. First things first, the bag. It is absolutely beautiful. I spotted this on the shelf, and knew I needed it in my life. I've been looking for a really bright bag for ages (as I mostly wear black, and something bright would add a pop to my outfit) and this was perfect. It was also super affordable. It was only £8. Eight pounds!! What a bargain!
Next up, I needed a head band for a Great Gatsby themed night I was going to (blog post coming soon!) and I just picked up this pretty one for a mere £3. It was really comfortable, and it stayed in my hair the whole night!
Finally, saving the most boring for last, I picked up some kirbies. (Because mine always go missing! Where do they go?) And these are so cheap, and great for £1.



 Next it was off to Superdrug for a few essentials I needed. First up is this face scrub, which I absolutely adore. This is my second tube (I have a blog post planned for this!) It is seriously amazing, and also super affordable at under a fiver.
I also needed dry shampoo, so I picked up my go-to one, which is of course the Batiste one. I picked the cherry one, just because cherry is my favourite scent. However, I can't make up my mind about this scent.







 Lastly, I popped to H&M, and I found that they have some really lovely stuff in right now. I ended up picking three things.
The first thing was this dress, which was £13, and I think it's so versatile. It's easy to wear all year round, either with tights, leggings, or bare legged. It's also really easy to both dress up, and dress down. I really like it.
Next was this cardigan. It doesn't look much in the photo, but it's really nice, and it literally goes with most of my wardrobe. I've been pairing it with a simple t-shirt, light ripped jeans, and chunky boots. It also looks really nice thrown over the previous dress.
I also got this simple black t-shirt, because I don't own anything like this, and it's honestly so useful to have something like this in any girls wardrobe, as you can just shove it on and go. I really like it.

So that's all I purchased! For once i'm actually really happy with every single thing I purchased! Yay!

Recently, Makeup Rumours kindly gave me a £10 voucher to use on their online shop. I wasn't familiar with the brand, but with prices starting from just £1, I was eager to try them out.
I picked up a few bits and bobs from the "Pink Tease" range, and I thought i'd show you what I got, and what I thought of them all.
Overall, I thought the website is relatively easy to navigate, and it was super quick delivery, I got it the next day! The one thing I hate is the packaging, I think it looks really tacky, particularly the writing. And, on the lipsticks the writing changes, which I really don't like. That's just a personal thing though, don't let that put you off though, the product are pretty great!



After Dark Eyeshadow Palette "Shade 1" - £1
I think the swatches really speak for themselves in this case. They are so pigmented. I'll admit, I was super shocked when I swatched them, as considering this was only a mere £1, I wasn't expecting it to be great. I was proved wrong.
Aside from the packaging, I really can't fault this product. Every single shade is really wearable bth for daytime and evenings, which is great for me, as I rarely wear anything other than neutral colours on my eyes. Another great thing is that the darkest brown shade is perfect for my eyebrows. I've not had any problems with fall down, and the eyeshadow stayed put on my eyes all day.

Glitz Eyeshadow Palette in "Shade 2" - £1
Once again, you just need to look at the swatch too see how amazing this palette is. The colours are so shimmery both in the palette, and once they've been swatched, and I think they'll be amazing for nights out, or special occasions. I especially love the metallic purple colour (third colour along in the swatch) which I think will add a bit of colour to my eyes, but not too much. Again, very wearable shades. Also, sometimes I really struggle to take off glitter shadows, but these were an absolute breeze to get off.

Dazzle Eye Shadow Palette in "Shade 1" - £1
There isn't much else I can say about this palette except that it's just as good as the previous two. Really pigmented (except the white), really wearable, doesn't smudge, no falldown, and an absolute bargain at only £1! I am so impressed with these.

Nail Varnish in "Shade 14" - £1
I also picked up one nail varnish, and I am overall impressed. It's an absolutely beautiful colour, although not what it looks like in the bottle. After two coats it was completely opaque, and this stuff dries seriously super fast. One downside is the smell, it's so overpowering, I had to open all my windows in my room to try and get rid of the smell, it stinks! Also, the lid on mine is broken. The black covering comes off if I pull at the lid, leaving a small screw cap.
However, i've had this on my nails for three days now, and it's not chipped, whihc, for £1, I think is pretty amazing.

Lipsticks - £1
Finally, I went a bit lipstick crazy, and I picked up six. (oops!) But, when they were only £1, I really couldn't resist.  I wasn't sure what to expect from them, but I was not disappointed!
These are my favourite purchases from Makeup Revolution, because quite frankly, they are amazing. Look at the swatches! They speak for themselves really. They're so pigmented, they glide on the lips, and they last for a really long time without going flaky. They also have quite a diverse shade range, and they have colours to suit everyone. I especially like shade 17.
One problem I had was that as you can see, one of my lipsticks is squashed. I took the lid off it, and it caught on the lipstick, and that happened. I definitely think the packaging could be a lot better, but like I mentioned, I can't complain really, as it is only one pound.
One thing I really hate is the smell. It smells really tacky, but if you can get past that, they they really are absolutely amazing, and if you have to pick up one thing from this brand, definitely make sure it's the lipsticks!
