Blogmas day 21! (4 sleeps till Christmas, yay!) Today is another review, of a product that i've been waiting to review for a long time (I don't know why it's taken me so long, but it's here now!)


As you can see, this is the "L'Oréal Paris Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution". I have heard that it's a great dupe for the beauty bloggers cult product, Bioderma, although I have yet to try that. This however, won't break your bank at under £4 for 200ml, which I think is great if you're on a budget (like me!).

The packaging itself is simple, but I like it. I like minimal packaging, as when a product has too much going on then it seems cluttered, and not very professional. One thing I dislike about the packaging though, is the amount of product it distributes. It kind of splashes out, so I have to be very careful when applying it onto a cotton wool pad, in order not to over soak it.

Onto the product itself. It claims to tone skin, remove makeup, and act as a skin soother all at once. I think it does all of these things beautifully. It really does feel like you're just putting water on my face, but it's actually cleaning my face? A miracle. I have really sensitive skin, so i'm always cautious when trying new products, as i'm not sure how they'll react. I'd heard a lot of rave reviews about this when it came to sensitive skin, and I completely agree! It's just amazing. It leaves my skin feeling so clean, and so hydrated, and it's so quick to use.
I get really bad breakouts on my skin, and the product also claims to take away impurities, and it does that a little bit, but it didn't significantly reduce any impurities, but I didn't really expect that aspect to work anyway.

It has one downside, and that is that it doesn't remove mascara easily. I find myself really having to rub at my eyes to get it off, and by the end my eyes are a little sore, but it does come off! Just not gently.

So overall, I would say the product itself was a great value for money, and I will continue to repurchase it, as I think that it is great. (I'm onto my third bottle already!)

I love a good salt spray, and I use it on a daily basis, to give my hair that little bit of texture, and volume, and just to give it that "beach waves" look. (Well I like to think it gives off that effect anyway..)
However, I have tried sooooo hard to find "The perfect salt spray", and unfortunately, i'm still looking.
I have found two salt sprays, which claim to do pretty much the same thing, but I find one to be a lot better than the other.
The two products are the "L'Oreal Matt and Messy Tousled Salt spray" and the "Toni and Guy salt spray" from the "Casual" range.



So first up, i'll start with the one I bought first. It's the one from L'Oreal, and what a disappointment this was! I'd read a tonne of reviews on this before I bought it, and it got a pretty good review (mixed with some bad, but mostly good), so I had high hopes for this when I purchased it. I actually wrote a blog post on this earlier this year (which you can read here), but long story short, it wasn't great, it did nothing to my hair except leave it sticky.

However, I did find a salt spray that I am quite happy with (although I feel it could be better). First up, the packaging is really lovely, the product itself smells nice, and works well in my hair, creating waves, however, I do have to ruffle my hair instantly, otherwise it will probably turn out quite sticky.  However, it holds well, nd almost doubles as a hairspray for me, which is great. Two products for the price of one?!

So overall, I would reccomend the Tony and Guy salt spray, as it's pretty close to the "perfect" salt spray.

Recently.. i was a little bit naughty. I went on a shopping spree and bought some random things from various shops, and i'm going to show it all to you in this blog post, as I always love reading/watching what other people have bought, so I thought you might be interested in seeing some items I have picked out!





First stop: Boots. I picked up some hair dye (to finally ombre my hair, there will be a blog post coming soon!), a Bourjois Bronzer, a lip crayon from Models Own, some Aussi 3 minute miracle conditioner since I dyed my hair (it's been a lifesaver, I honestly love it so much.) and some dry shampoo!

I then headed to H&M and picked up a few things. I picked up this little black cardigan (because I don't own a black cardigan, and they go with everything?!), and also this cute little monochrome dress, which I am in love with.

Then it was off to Topshop for a little wander, mainly browsing, as everything is so pretty, but so expensive(!), and I picked up this gorgeous nail polish in the colour "Carnival".

In New Look, I couldn't resist this gold necklace! I think it's so pretty, and I love how it's a statement necklace, but it's really delicate at the same time.







My last stop was Accessorize, and I went a little crazy, and I picked up two random things. A little white headband, and some socks.. with a raccoon on them (reduced to 75p, i couldn't resist them!) They are pretty awesome if I say so myself.
