When I saw this week's piece of clothing to talk about, and I found out it was harem pants, i'm not going to lie, I was a little gutted, as I, for one, do not suit harem pants. When I was around 14, I owned a pair of black ones, I wore them once, hated them, and never wore them again. I felt like they made me look fat, and disgusting, and so since, i've steered well clear of them. However, they seem so be quietly creeping back into style, so with that in mind, I might have to try them again. I was browsing through some online shops, searching for harem pants, and i'd be lying if I didn't say I was a little shocked. They look a lot nicer than I remember them being. They seem to be more fitted, and some of the patterned prints are absolutely beautiful! I've picked a couple of my favourites, and below is a couple of ways I would style them, depending on whether it's a night out, or just a casual day with your friends.

Hey everyone! It's week 3 of my little blog series, and this past week hasn't been as exciting, so i'm afraid this post is pretty short, and uneventful. I've mainly just took some time to relax, and de-stress, before I have to think about folios, and exams again.

Talking of exams, that's actually been the highlight of my week. As many of you may know, I recently sat some exams, and I found out that I got an A in Advanced Higher Graphic Communication, and a B in Business Management. I am so proud of these results, I couldn't be happier!

I was (sadly) back at school this week, and it was boring, and uneventful. It was hard to get back into routine after two weeks off though!

As I mentioned, this past week has been my "stress free" week, and what better way to de-stress than to watch more "Pretty Little Liars"? I can't think of a much better way to relax.

That's about it for my week, I told you it was boring! I thought i'd end this post by telling you a few things i've been particularly loving this week, just so that this post isn't too boring!

Hello everybody! It's week two of this regular chat that i'm starting on my blog (read what happened last week here), and this week has been considerably better than the last!

If you read last week's entry, you'll know that I was concentrating on sending away my folios for art school. On Monday, I sent my final art school portfolio away to Edinburgh Art School. It was such a relief, knowing that it was away! However, I didn't mention last week, that one of my Universities got back to me, and i'm onto the next stage, which involved a design task, and a portfolio, by the end of this month, so i'm a little stressed about that, but obviously over the moon that I made it to this stage!

This week, I made a big mistake. I started watching "Pretty Little Liars". I have been meaning to watch it for ages now, since a couple of my friends have recommended it to me, and since my exams were over, and I had a week off, with nothing better to do, I thought, why not? And it is amazing. I am literally hooked. I've already finished Season 1 (yes, really!) It is really good, although only start watching it if you have time, because after each episode, you keep wanting more, and more, and more, until, before you know it, you've wasted your whole day watching them!

Thursday was by far the most exciting, and best day i've had for a while. I've been a fan of You Me At Six for quite a while ago, and since I got Cavalier Youth, I've had it on repeat, so you can imagine how happy I was when one of my friends managed to get us wristbands for the intimate gig/signing that they were doing in HMV Buchanan Street (in Glasgow). It was such a fab day, we waited out in the cold for an hour and a half, then we were let in, and waited for them to perform. And they were absolutely incredible. Meeting them after, and getting my album signed? That was beyond amazing. They are all genuinely such lovely guys. It was well worth the wait. I highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already. Their new album Cavalier Youth is currently number 1 in the UK, so everyone should buy it, to keep it there. On Friday, me and two of my closest friends, Kate and Cara, went round to Cara's house, and we planned out our trip to London in June. I am soooo excited, as London is one of the places i've wanted to visit for as long as I can remember, and i'm finally going! So that was a great day as well.
However, to top off this great week, I actually heard back from another of my Universities (Edinburgh Napier), and they've invited me for an interview for their Graphic Design course. The portfolio and interview sound pretty difficult, making me very nervous, but i'm so unbelievably happy that I made the shortlist of potential candidates!
And that's been my week, it's been pretty great in my opinion, and the thought of going back to school tomorrow, and getting my exam results back, terrifies me a little.

Hey everybody, i'm back with a very exciting post! I decided to take part in Fashion February (you can read all about it here), and today i'm going to be talking about a gorgeous dress from Numari.

When I want to dress up an outfit for the evening, I like to keep the dress simple, and use accessories to glam up my outfit, which is exactly what I have done with this outfit below.

Hey everyone! Hope you're all well! I had this crazy idea at the beginning of this week to start up a little regular thing on my blog, called "Weekly Catch-Up" (Original, I know!) Basically, I thought I could fill you in on the little things that i've been doing in my week, just to give you an insight into my life (look, I even made a mini banner thing!). My life is going to change this year, provided I get into University (i'm staying hopeful!), and I want you guys to be a part of this crazy ride!
I'll probably put the posts up every Sunday, at around about this time, and some will be more interesting than others, but enough of the rambling, lets get started!

This week has been exam/folio central! I've had two exams this week (Graphic Communication and Business Management), both of which required a lot of revision, and work. I hope i've done enough to at least pass them!
On top of that, I had a folio to put into Glasgow School of Art, as i'm applying for their Visual Communication course. It basically consisted of sending in 15 digital images (slides of images), and below is an example of one of the slides I sent away.


I still have another folio to be sent away to Edinburgh Art school, for their Graphic Design course, by Tuesday, and it requires ten more images, so i've been busy getting that together to the best quality that I can. Stressful is an understatement!

I am a messy reviser. When I sit at my desk to study, it starts off lovely and clean, as does my surroundings, but half an hour into revision, my stuff is strewn everywhere. It gets into such a state! Don't believe it? Here's proof below. (I'm so ashamed)

Yes, it was really that bad. However, I did tidy it up after my last exam (which was Friday), so now it's lovely and clean! Take a peek:

Everyone should be proud of me! I filled up three bags full of paper, and one full of rubbish. How did I get this messy?!
Aside from that, not much else happened in my life this week, a pretty boring start to my little blogging series that i'm doing! I hope next week will be better, and hopefully slightly more interesting!
