I really seem to love doing beauty tags, don't I? I saw this one and I decided I would do it, because it looks quite interesting. I found this on this blog here, and I thought I would give it a shot:)

1. Name a beauty regime that you rarely do?

-It has to be to apply primer. I literally never put it on! I know that it's bad, because primer is better for applying make-up better, and helps it last longer, but really, I never do it. As well as that, I only set my makeup with a powder, not a spray.

2. Is washing your make-up brushes something that you do regularly?

-I would love to be able to say "Oh yes, I do it often!" But I don't. I mean, I wash my foundation one quite a lot, but realistically, with all the brushes I use, i'm not great at washing them, in particular my eye brushes.

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?

- It has to be off as soon as I realise that it's chipped. As I bite my nails, the majority of the time I have my nails painted, so I feel like i'm constantly painting my nails, because if they are chipped, I have to re do them.

4. How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?

-It really depends on what the product is. I always repurchase concealer, Eyeliner, mascara and foundation straight away, as I use the same of these every day. However, with lip products, or eyeshadows, I don't, because I chop and change what I use all the time.

5. What is your worst beauty habit?

-I already mentioned it in question 3, but I bite my nails! Ah! i have tried everything on earth I swear to try and stop, but I can't! Admittedly, i'm not as bad as I was, but i'm still pretty bad.

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?

-*sits thinking about this question for at least five minutes*

It would probably have to be tidying up. I mean, I am organised, but it's an organised mess. It's mostly clothes as well, that I haven't put in the washing, but it can be a variety of things. I'm also really bad at handing things into school, posting letters, or letting someone know if i'm available to do things.

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute?

-If i'm going somewhere nice, where I need to make more of an effort than usual, then i'll leave quite a bit of time, but if i'm going to the shops, or going to school, then I will be so rushed!

8. Can you commit to spending bans?

-I haven't tried, although it might be a good idea. I have random bursts when I spend a lot, but then I don't spend much money for ages, so I guess it balances out, and if I set myself a spending ban, I reckon I could commit to it. Hey, maybe i'll try it!

9. How organised is your make-up and nail polish collections?

- I share a room with my three sisters, so I have no space to have a nice big storage. However, with the (little) storage I have, I would say my stuff was reasonably well organised. Not the greatest collection ever, but definitely not the worst!

What's In My Makeup Bag?

UPDATED MAKEUP BAG HERE

I have been planning to do this blog post for ages now, and then my camera broke, so I had to wait, but it's fixed, so I can finally do it! What I've literally done is just emptied out the contents of my daily makeup bag. I don't use all of this in a daily basis, but there are definitely my most used products, so, lets take a look, shall we?

The mess that is my makeup bag contents!

(Note: My makeup bag is one that I got with an FCUK bath set a few years ago, it's the only one I have big enough to hold everything!)

First up is my three favourite colours from "Models Own" Blueberry Muffin(1), Strawberry Tart(2) and Zest a Peel(3). I have no idea why they're in my makeup bag, but oh well.. They're pretty anyway.

My sleek contour/highlighting palette is my lifesaver in the mornings, particularly the contouring. I think it adds definition to my face, and there's rarely a day it doesn't get used.

I do like this No7 eyeshadow palette in "Garden Of Eden", but I never ever use the two greens, but I use the browns a lot, because I love the pigmentation of them.

The Bourjois Delice de Poudre - This is a new addition to my makeup bag, but already I love it. It's really subtle bronzer, but I prefer them like that.

A beauty bloggers favourite, it's the Rimmel Apocalips lip laquers in Luna(1) and Big Bang(2). I can't explain how much I am in love with these, especially number 2! I am a little bit obsessed.

Ths is a really old, expensive Christion Dior lipstick in "Sparkling Red". I do like it, but I rarely wear it, because in my opinion, it's my least favourite red lipstick I own, and it's so old it should probably be thrown out..

I did a whole review of Lush's bubblegum lipscrub on my blog earlier this year (which you can find here), but I do love this product, a lot!

This is the "Lasting Finish" Lipstick by Rimmel (can you tell I love this brand?!) in "Drop of Sherry", and I absolutely love it! It's quite subtle, so it's easily wearable during the day.

Another beauty cult product, it is of course the Collection (2000) lasting perfection concealer, and it is easily the most used, and most repurchased product in my makeup bag. Even if I don't have any other makeup on, I would have to have this on! And for under a fiver, that just makes it even better.

Another recent purchase. I saw this in boots, and I hadn't seen it before, so I picked it up. I'm reviewing it soon, but so far, it's been nice, but it's not a great colour for me, as it's kind of orange. I love orange, however, I don't think I suit it.

Ah, the Kate Moss Lipsticks, in 10, 107 and 03. Not a bad thing to say about these, they really are brilliant. I actually did a review of these (specifically 107) which you can read here.

I really do like Rimmel products, don't ? I found three eye liners in white, brown and black. I use the brown to do my eyebrows(although i'm on the hunt for a better substitution, any suggestions are welcomed with open arms!). I rarely use the white, and I use the black along my waterline.

Just some standard QVS tweezers. They do the job.

All my "Eco Tools" brushes! They cost me in total about £13 and I love them lots.

Maybelline The Falsies mascara. When i first purchased this product, I hated it, and I stopped using it, before going back to it, and then loving it! It's now easily my favourite mascara..

I rarely use the actual palette (and if i do use it, it's only the third row), and one of my little sisters decided to stick their fingers in 4/6 of the lipglosses on the bottom row.. The reason this is in there is because of the mirror. It's huge!

Yet another beauty cult product. I love this, and I really think it helps block the shine, as there's nothing worse than seeing photos from a night out you've had, and you're so shiny that you could be spotted a mile away! (It's happened to me many a time.. But not since I started using this!)

I have tried countless ways of applying eyeliner to my top lid, pen, liquid, pencil, and gel. This gel liner, is the best product i've used, and trust me, i've used tonnes. I absolutely adore it! It's so easy to use, and it stays on all day, you don't need to touch it up at all.

Oh how I love my "Wake Me UP" foundation.. I first bought this product 2 years ago I think, or whenever it first came out, and i've never looked back. I've repurchased this almost as many times as i've bought the concealer by Collection again, and that's a lot of times! I just love it. (I've said love a lot in this blog post...)

You can't have a makeup bag without a lipbalm! I get such dry lips, so lipbalm is my best friend all year round!

Last but not least, my trusty eyelash curlers, by QVS. To be honest I looked in boots and just picked up the cheapest eyelash curlers, and they work great!

So that is all the products I use most! Pretty much all of them are drugstore brands, and they're cheap, but I think they work fine on my face, and right now there isn't much I would actually change about my makeup routine. I hope you liked this, i'll see you soon!

Get To Know Me || Tag

Hello everyone!

So today is a bit of a different style post for me, it's another tag (wow, big shock there, it's all I seem to be doing!) and it's the "Get To Know Me" Tag. I've already done a small "About Me" (which you can find here) , but I thought I would continue it, and do this tag, because the questions looked good, and it's good to get a bit more personal with the people who read this. So without further ado, lets go!

1. Are you named after anyone?

Not as far as I know, I think my mum has a thing for Irish names, even though we aren't Irish, because my siblings all have Irish names (Caragh, Cian, Niamh and Orla).

2. When was the last time you cried?

The last time was probably last night, and this is going to sound pathetic, but it was whilst reading a book that I must have read about a million times (slight exaggeration) but I cry every single time at it! (Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows)

3. Do you have kids?

I'm only 17, and I don't want to have kids this young, so no.

4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?

I don't know.. this is really difficult to answer!

5. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Way too much, to the point where people can't tell if i'm being serious or not.

6. Will you ever bungee-jump?

No, probably not. The thought of it makes me feel a little bit ill. Physically forcing myself off a high platform is not something i really want to do.

7. What’s your favorite cereal?

Boring, but, Rice Krispies, or Special K. I love them!

8. What’s the first thing you notice about people?

Eyes! I love eyes, and they are always the first thing I notice. Eyes are a very important body part when first talking to people, because I think they reflect their personality (that sounds weird, but I know what I mean in my head)

9. What is your eye colour?

Blue, but they can appear green sometimes, depending on the light.

10. Scary movie or happy endings?

I get scared way too easily, whereas i'm a sucker for a happy ending. If a book/movie doesn't have a happy ending, i get a little bit sad, so this question is easy: happy endings!

11. Favorite smells?

Perfume-wise, Marc Jacobs-Dot, I also love Fresh bread and cherries.

12. Summer or winter?

Hmm.. Both, for different reasons. I prefer the fashion in winter, as I love layering and keeping warm, but I do love the sun!

13. Computer or television?

Computer, I rarely watch TV anyway.

14. What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home?

Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, so not very far!

15. Do you have any special talents?

Not really, the only things i'm alright at is Art I guess, but it isn't really a special talent.

16. Where were you born?

Glasgow, in Scotland.

17. What are your hobbies?

This is always hard to answer. Art, design, dancing, reading, blogging (obviously), going on the internet for 283932 hours a day, listening to music. I don't have many hobbies.

18. Do you have any pets?

-No i do not.

19. Favorite movie?

-All of the Harry Potter movies, i can't just pick one. Apart from that, I love The Perks Of Being A Wallflower so much too, but my all time favourite movie, and it has been since I was really little, is "The Parent Trap".

20. Do you have any siblings?

I do! I have three sisters and a brother!

Caragh who is 14, Cian who is 13, and Niamh and Orla, who are 8 year old twins.

21. What do you want to be when you grow up?

Obvious answer, I would like to be successful, and happy, and feel like i've lived as good a life as I could have! But career's wise, i'd like to be a Graphic Designer.

Would You Rather || Beauty Edition

Two posts in one night? What is happening?!
Anyway, i'm going to do a beauty tag, which I have seen on this blog here
It's the "Would You Rather" one, and when I read it, I thought it sounded pretty interesting, and I wanted to try it out, so here I am!

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses, or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
-This is an easy one for me, I would rather lose all my palettes and eyeshadows. Why? Because I don't use them that often, and if I do, it's more neutral colours, whereas I am a huge eye/lips girl. If I don't have eyeliner and mascara on, I'll have bright red lips, and vice versa. Sometimes I have both!

2. Would you rather chop off all your hair, or never be able to cut it again?
- Chop off all my hair! Because it would grow back (plus, i've cut it really short before, and my hair grows quite fast) Can you just imaging the split ends if you could never cut it again?! Plus, you might end up like this woman ..

3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
-Pink! I actually prefer coral colours, but I really don't suit them at all!

4. If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
- As much as I love makeup, I'm going to have to say clothes, mainly because i'm always moaning about not having enough clothes, and makeup is so expensive nowadays you would probably get a lot more from your money buying nice clothes. Plus, they'd last longer than makeup!

5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
- This is a hard one.. i'd probably say lipstick as eyeliner, because with eyeliners, you can only really get either really dark, or really bright, so your lips would look strange. With lipstick however, you could get a nice brown lipstick, and use that on your eyes?

6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
- As much as I love Sephora, it's non-existent in the UK, so it would be a bitch to only shop there, when there's MAC counters everywhere in the UK, so MAC!

7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
- Easy, like I said in question one, i'm not an eyeshadow person. If I so wear eyeshadow, it's always in browns, and neutral colours, whereas I love lipsticks, so I would have to only wear one eyeshadow.

8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
-I love winter clothes so much, but they would be so warm in summer.. but then again, i'm always cold.. so summer clothes in winter would be really bad.. I think i'd have to go for the first option.

9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year long?
- Bright nails! As that's only what I wear anyway, apart from the occasional deep red or purple. Plus, brighter nails are happier, and cheer me up.

10. Would you rather give up your favourite lip product, or your favourite eye product?
- As much as I love my Kate Moss Rimmel Lipstick in shade 107, I couldn't live without my Maybelline Falsies Effect Mascara, as I wear that every day! Without mascara, my eyes look teeny!

11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail, or a messy bun?
- Messy bun, definitely, as that's basically what I do on a regular basis anyway! Except it's messy in a not very cute way, more a sort of, what the hell has that girl got on her head is it a birds nest, way.

12. Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
- Never use lipgloss, as I don't use it often anyway, but I always paint my nails. (Currently, they're bright red if anyone's interested)

13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all, or sharpie them in everyday?
- Well this is a hard one. I think because my eyebrows are so dark anyway, if i did it tactically with a dark brown sharpie, it wouldn't look as bad as if I shaved them off, so, sharpie them in everyday.

Would you rather live without makeup, or without nail polish?
- Without nail polish! I definitely could not go out without concealer/mascara on!
