LONDON HAUL

June 15, 2014

So, some of you may know that last week, I went to London with two of my closest friends to celebrate the end of school, our last trip before we head to University in September. Our main reason for going down was to visit the Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour (because we are all massive Harry Potter fans) but I managed to do quite a bit of shopping in the four days I was there, and that is what I am going to share with you today!

Okay so the first two things I didn't actually get in London, but I got them the day before I went so I thought i'd include them as I love them so much! As some of you may know, my birthday was a couple of weeks ago, on the 10th May, (i did a birthday haul that you can read here!) and one of my good friends Laura gave me these two gorgeous gifts! I've been a huge fan of crayon wall art for ages, but never ever bought one myself, and I am so happy i've now got one! I'm going to take it up to Dundee in September (where i'm moving into student halls, as i'm going to Art School up there), and it will make my student room look so pretty!
She also got me this beautiful handmade necklace in with a Snitch on it (Harry Potter fans will understand! I am in love with it, and I of course wore it in London! Thanks Laura!

On arrival, after a long day travelling, and going to Madame Tussauds, we headed to Oxford Street, and made a beeline for Kiko, as there isn't one in Glasgow. I picked up these two really pretty products, a kind of nude/rose gold nail varnish and a red lipliner. I am in love with these products, and they're on my ist of products to review.

On the second day we headed to THE STUDIO TOURS. And we were all sooooo excited! The actual tour itself was incredible (more on that in a later post!) and I picked up a couple of bits and bobs from the shop at the end. I got a souvenir guide that basically summarized what I saw in the Studio Tour, which I thought was a great bit of memorabilia, and I also got a Gryffindor t-shirt which is so comfortable and soft (i'm actually wearing it as I write this!) And there was an opportunity to by Butterbeer (a fictional drink that's been brought to life), and I loved it, it tasted like Wethers' Originals. We got it in a tankard, which of course I washed out and kept!

The next day, we got up early and headed to Kings' Cross, as that's where platform 9 and 3/4 is. They have a little statue thing that you can get photos, and things, and there's also a souvenir shop. I picked up a mug, a keyring and a ticket, which I thought I could stick on my wall.

On that same day, we headed to Victoria's Secret, and it was beautiful! I picked up a couple for their body sprays, and they all smell absolutely divine! And the packaging.. oh, it's perfect.

Finally, we stopped off at the duty free section of the airport and I bought my FIRST EVER MAC Lipstick! I chose Russian Red, and it is the most gorgeous staple red, and I think it will be perfect both for nights out, and daytime!

And that's all I Vought! I will be putting up a post all about Londpn, explaining what I did etc.. (But my laptop is being really slow and is refusing to upload photos, which is why this took so long to upload!)
Thanks for reading, see you soon!
